A recent visit to stay with friends in Llanelli in South West Wales prompted an idea to produce a series of articles featuring towns around the UK that would be of particular interest to those of us in our Third Age.

Unsurprisingly given our love of the town and the area in general, Llanelli in Carmarthenshire has become the first such town to be featured in our ‘Around the UK‘ series of articles.
