As Graham Smith points out in his latest Third Age feature, Cosmetic Surgery used to be the province of movie stars and footballer’s wives.

Today, whether you agree with it or not, many such procedures are available on the NHS, which seems strangely incongruous when you consider that many of these are not necessary to life. That many are required because of various forms of self infliction, and the fact that we are increasingly seeing NHS treatment rationed because of cost, particularly to the aging!
