Exercise & Fitness are so terribly important for those of us in our Third Age. It has been suggested that as much as 50% of the physical decline we experience as we age is related to our lack of physical activity once we hit 50.
It’s never too late to get fit. Age is no excuse for not keeping physically active for as long as we can. We owe it to ourselves and our families to maintain our independence for as long as we are able, and keeping ourselves physically active can both help us recover more quickly from illness and reduce our risk of ill health and disease.
