Many thanks to Michael, who last evening pointed out the forum possesses an internal message facility. I hunted high and low and eventually found a small envelope, and the rest as they say is history.

The only problem with this discovery being I found five messages dating back to early April, requests that until now I have been blissfully unaware of … okay, so I'm thick … one of them is a physical impossibility, especially at my age!!!

My apology is directed to admin, Doreen and Michael, you must all think me very rude for not replying to your mail. I may be called many things, in fact my wife frequently does (that's a different subject) but I am not rude, I simply didn't realise we had an internal message system.

It's a pleasure to be on a forum where adults treat each other as such, and the topics are wide, varied, adult, good humoured and a pleasure to be a part of and contribute. Then I joined and now it's downhill all the way.

It was Doreen who told me about the internal messaging system. Doreen and Ciderman taught me everything I know

I'm new to forums and didn't know how they worked at all. I'm an old hand now.
