Well it's April and what lovely weather we are having. I've been busy in the garden repotting plants and cleaning up leaves. I found some vine weevil larvae in my pots. I gave them to Dolly and Tammy, our Silkie Chickens They loved them. I think this weather might have been our summer. It iss meant to get colder again or back to normal for the time of year. They have forecast snow for Scotland. I'm glad I've made the most of the sun. I even have a bit of a tan.

Well it's a nice 24 C at the moment, (4:30 pm) been up to 28 C but it's gets cool at night now- must be autumn. Just come back from youngest g/dau Suzee's 1st birthday party. Kids everywhere and in perpetual motion! It looks like most of my daughter's friends are manufacturing more kids! Nearly every female was nearly spherical!

Well today it's 8c and very dull. It's been as high as 18c this week. If you could get out of the breeze it has felt a lot hotter.
Well it sounds like you have been having a great time. I can't wait for our temperatures to reach 24c. At the moment we still need the heating on in the evening and today I will need to put it on during the day.
Yesterday when I was coming back from shopping I saw a red kite (this is the UK's most beautiful bird of prey) flying over our green. They have a wingspan of nearly two metres (about 5' 6″), but a relatively small bodyweight of 2-3 Ibs. In the 16th Century there was a Vermin Act and the red kite was on it. By the late 18th Century the red kites had bred for the last time in England. In Mid Wales a few pairs hung on. Because of a small number of dedicated people back in the 1970's, the numbers have improved and now they are protected. Now there are about 700-900 pairs in Wales and in the UK in total there are about 1800-2000. It is amazing to think we nearly lost them.

I'm beginning to feel like the April fool. I have finally got the problem sorted by installing Google Chrome. What a great update by Internet Explorer, when you need to download another site to use it.

I'm glad you could sort out Internet Explorer. I hate updates, they very rarely run smoothly. I think they use us as guinea pigs to sort out the gremlins.

We have been out today down to Dorset. We went for a walk in the woods and the bluebells are just starting to come out. I wish you had smellyvision. What a beautiful smell.

I love the red flowers – they look very exotic. Is the first one a canna? I don't know the name of the second one but over here we grow it as a house plant. And the last one I think I have seen when I visited Kew Gardens. It was in the glasshouse. I think they have it at Wisely Gardens too, in their new glasshouse.

Very Quiet around here isn't it?
I like this picture, I gave it the name of 'Water Colour'.

This is Me. (without my glasses) with a rather special friend. He/she is a 10 foot Olive Python, and he is gorgeous.

Looks a lot more amiable than the cuddly koala I was given to hold when I was in Aus! The damn thing tried to climb me like a tree and they have very sharp claws!

Great photo's 'ME'. Love the snake.
Sorry, I have had my sister over for Easter. That reminds me Happy Easter all – sorry it's a bit late. My sister hid a lot of Easter eggs all over the house and garden and gave us clues to find them. It was enormous fun. The weather has been amazing – just like summer. We have been busy making a new seating area in the front garden.
