It was a lovely sunny day today so we decided to make the most of it and get out of the office for a while. I don't know how many more days like it we will get this year. We went to Lacock, a very lovely village near us and parked up and went for a walk. I took some photos. It's quite ironic. I took some photos of Lacock Abbey and that was where William Henry Fox Talbot was born and lived. He was one of the pioneers of photography, and Lacock is consequently considered the birthplace of photography. We had a lovely walk, it was a bit cold with the wind but I had a scarf and gloves so I was okay. We walked along the river. The only bad news was that I was looking around too much and not looking where my feet were. I trod in a cowpat, and my husband said I wasn't allowed in Benson (our Jeep) with that on my boots.
