It was a lovely sunny day today so we decided to make the most of it and get out of the office for a while. I don't know how many more days like it we will get this year. We went to Lacock, a very lovely village near us and parked up and went for a walk. I took some photos. It's quite ironic. I took some photos of Lacock Abbey and that was where William Henry Fox Talbot was born and lived. He was one of the pioneers of photography, and Lacock is consequently considered the birthplace of photography. We had a lovely walk, it was a bit cold with the wind but I had a scarf and gloves so I was okay. We walked along the river. The only bad news was that I was looking around too much and not looking where my feet were. I trod in a cowpat, and my husband said I wasn't allowed in Benson (our Jeep) with that on my boots.Laugh

I should think not! Jeeps are supposed to get dirty on the outside not inside!

Nice photos though. Didn't do one of the offending cowpat?

Michael, I am surprised at you. No self respecting country type would be seen without the remnants of a trusty, fresh cowpat on his foot attire. Also an excellent cure for chilblains and the best to warm the feet on a cold winter's morning. Laugh

Have you have gone soft since moving back into town, the next thing you know you will be calling the substance manure!!! Smile
