Annmarie, beware……

I am having Rosmary for lunch today and I love rosemary.

Thank Goodness I don't have any “annmarie”  growing in my garden (or I might be eating you up too.

Sometimes I eat my main meal at 1pm-lunch and other days at 7pm supper.

My lunch is in the oven, Chicken- new potatoes and Rosemary.

Rosemary is in German “der Rosmarin” German has no sense of Humour.- Der is Masculine.Confused

Today is Tuesay and it is exactly 10am (MEZ)

I have had had a busy morning doing nothing.

–but I had to stop and think and make plans.

I need a new Orchid garden for the winter.

This garden is actually a small glass cage but what I have now is too small.

I have at the moment 9 different orchids mounted on twigs and 5 different ones in pots.

Then I have Tilandsia (airplants) which I would like to put in this garden which is in my lounge.

Thinking too about the garden outside as Autumn is just around the corner.

At the moment I only have 1 day a month for me.

This will be next week and I am going for the day to Liechtensteine- Vaduz.

One of our neighbouring countries.

Living here in the German speaking part of Switzerland, France, Austria,Germany and Liechenstein are less than a 2hour

drive away.

A drawback of living down here in the South Pacific is we can't 'hop over' to anywhere except Australia or the Pacific Islands, not that there's anything wrong with them ……..

I don't seem to be able to log in with IE. I'm using Firefox for this post.

I think that Firefox is much superior to IE.

When I bought this new HP all said,”Buy an Apple/Mac.

I didn't listen.

Now I have this IE which when I try and install other programs I read “Not Compatible”

I have configured it myself.               But one day I am going to spend the whole day in front

of this machine and Brainwash it until it does what I want.  Yell

I feel for you Doreen. I dread the day I need to get a new computer (I know the day is getting close) and having to learn all the new programs. It turns out a lot of things are not working with the new IE. I will get thirdage updated when I get time, but at the moment I'm property hunting.Yell

I have Firefox and Google Chrome in addition to IE . For some odd reason I have to use Firefox to get into Third Age but I have more problems with some sites with Firefox or Chrome than I ever have with IE, so I'll stick to it for most things.

As for Mac's, I know their adherents are very loyal but I have the lates Mac when I work at the museum and it drives me nuts! As for virus attacks, I think if Apple Mac's had a much bigger share of the market, hackers would think it much more worthwhile to attack it. But if you were a clever hacker why would you bother with 15% of the market?
