Catch you later.

Another young lady relaxing, footwear discarded, with a book and comfy seat. I do like pictures that aren't posed.

More beautifully captured and well studied shots.
Although I wonder whether you actually need permission from the subjects before you publish them on the internet? I read somewhere that it was illegal.
I particularly liked the one of the sea and the red effect on the clouds.
An artist at work.
I have just returned from a trip. Took my camera and didn't take a single photo! Now seeing those I realise that I should put my photo hat on and start actually looking for interesting shots.
I really loved those ducks.

Doreen, there are times when one should take things easy, sit a spell with a good book. It would seem to me this young lady has cottoned on to the idea at a very early age.

I don't know this woman, her situation and setting just seemed ideal for an impromptu photograph.
I have to say the photos are great 'ME'. They have brightened up my day. I love the one with the hammock. I'm sure you would get told off for hanging a hammock in a park in the UK. I have to say you have a much more laid back attitude in the Antipodes. I love it. And it looks like there are two people in the hammock. I can see a pair of feet by the lady's head. You must tell us what camera you have?

Many thanks for your kind words. Shazza, nice to see you on board once more. That is not the sea, it's the heavy cloud formation we flew so high for to try and avoid any tubulence.
Ann Marie, you are very observant, neither my wife or I had noticed the extra pair of feet.

Ann Marie, I have two cameras, a small Sony that fits into my tee shirt pocket, this is kept permanently in my car for those shots that just happen to present them-self. If I am going somewhere that I know will present photo opportunities then I use a Cannon SX200. I find this to be brilliant for long distance and close up work. It's a mid price camera that has paid for itself in satisfaction many times over.
I am not a trained photographer and the books I have studied were pretty basic. However, it seems that I have a good eye for the unusual and seeking a better position before pressing the shutter button. At present I am looking at going the whole hog and upgrading to a Sony NEX 5. Now this is expensive but it will open up an entirely new world for me, I do tend take photography rather seriously. My only real dislike is taking pictures of people, especially when they all stand or sit around wearing silly grins saying cheese, but show me a pair of blackbirds in the garden feeding their young and I am on cloud nine.
I hope you don't get bored with me. I took about 400 pictures whilst on holiday so if you get fed up with me putting them on site, then just say so, I promise not to sulk too much I will just start putting my stories on here instead.

Bored with you “ME” never ever.
Your photos are a delight.
I remember when, and that was years and years ago I sat on those cold
steps behind the Bicycle shed and read your little mouse stories.
I laughed and laughed. A laugh a day keeps the Doctor away.

I love the photos 'ME'. I still have not got around to getting my new camera. I'm thinking of getting a Canon because the lense to my old Canon camera will fit. I was thinking of getting an EOS but not sure which one yet.
My optician said my long distance vision was above average for my age but I had to get reading glasses this year. I noticed last December when I was writing the Christmas cards that my writing was blurred.
You are right Doreen, laughing is good for you and it releases endorphins and they can help you feel less pain.
