Isn't the year passing quickly. The gardens are looking good even though the wind is doing its best to wreck them. We have had some rain and the grass is looking green. The broad beans have flowers and the strawberries are starting to turn red. I'm going to net the strawberries so the birds don't peck holes in them. Here's a photo of my broad beans in a pot. They are dwarf plants but they have normal size beans.

I have checked every day and it looks to me as if this has become a very quiet place. I will post a few pictures taken this week and see if they draw any responce, hopefully our Swiss maid will return and Michael can drag himself away from the museum.
Mid winter's day, 17 degrees. taken at Cornwall park, Hastings, New Zealand.

Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

Keep trying, Michael, I'm getting awfully lonely.
Nice shake this afternoon, you been clearing out the museum again?

Well it was only a 6+ Robin. I was collecting a grandchild from school. Must have been driving.

From memory grandchildren and earthquakes can have very simlar effects: both are generally noisey, break things and leave the place in a great big mess.
It's been extremely quiet round here lately, do you think Ann Marie and Dorreen may have moved?
