Now that others have disclosed this Problem, I would like to tell why I deleted what I had written.

I had received no mail from Graham Smith and I wrote a  suggestion on this thread to the Administrator

that perhaps it was time to delete this “Please Read”

At the same time the owner of this site received from Graham a threatenings mail and  very offensive statements in Facebook.

I don't do Facebook so I had no idea what was happening.

Coincidence

I thought that we  could make this Forum happy and interesting and some of the new members would post.

Never mind it has happened but I am confident that Gerald and Annmarie are taking care of everything.

Graham Smith is blocked from seeing the site and the forum, and we only know about the Facebook post because he emailed Gerald with it, along with a second email previously mentioned. Otherwise we would not know about it. As my favourite singer/songwriter says in one of his songs, 'I've closed the book on that'.

I doubt if he can't read here.

I noticed that it was only when I mentioned his name that I got another email of nasty from him. I suspect the poor fellow pops in here to read even if he cannot post. Sad really.

I don't understand that an educated man can be so stupid and use names and words like he does.

I know that he was banned from every Forum where he posted.

You either agree with him and then you are accepted but disagree ******.

I can't be bothered with him anymore.

I was in hospital when the original altercation with Smith took place. I don't know what happened, indeed I don't wish to know, this because this man seems to be trying to set an all time record for the person banned from the most forums. At present he has called more banns than a parish vicar.

However, on the positive side, may I suggest you follow my example? Most E-mail servers have a blocked sender facility, and today, after receiving yet another extremely childish, unsolicited message, his name and Email address were added … end of problem. If he wishes to continue sending messages he is totally wasting his time, for with no effort on my part, they go where they are really appreciated.

Ann-marie and Gerald. I would like you to know you have my full support in the way you run this rather special forum, I am confident others will feel the same. If lurkers (I have another word but with ladies modesty forbids I use it) wish to try and spoil our message exchanges, I suggest the finest way to deal with them is to totally ignore them … this they can't stand because they 'MUST' be the centre of attention. The kind of messages they excel at usually lack one obvious basic characteristic: courage.

Doreen, the blocked sender facility works beautifully. A nice clear Inbox today apart from the usual Viagra adds and potions to make appendages grow … but I reckon that's stretching things a bit to far. Embarassed

Me what is an appendage.?

I asked Leo my dictionary and there they suggested it could be an appendix.

Well I haven't got one of those so it is perhaps better when I don't take them.

Do you take them?

And now on this early September morning Mr ME

I must apologise for asking such an impertinent question.

I would have done better to ask if that little mouse which once slept under your

bed in younger days was still there

Off with my head, I must  think before I write.

It is perhaps better when I keep to the weather.Wink

Doreen, my dictionary gives the meaning of appendage as: a thing attached to something larger or more important.

Me thinks you are right, it's far safer chatting about the weather.

Tomorrow we are in for a real southerly blast, for Michael and I this is the cold one. Time to wrap up warm and keep a jumper close at hand. I had a message from the UK this morning, this reported the temperature last night at 5 degrees, now that is quite a bit colder than we are having here at present. Still summer's coming, I wait with eager anticipation. We got the water turned on at out apartment today, we hope to take up residence within the next three or four days.
