I suffer with arthritis in both of my hands so thought my knitting days were over, until I read that bamboo knitting needles could help the condition…..I bought a number of these needles and lo and behold they do actually work…thought it worth passing on.Cool

Interesting Maureen. Despite being a male and very much 'butter side up', I learned to knit as a child. Desperate for a hobby now that I have a little more time on my hands, I was considering taking up knitting again.

Why is it that one knitting needle should be any different from another?

Many thanks for that Maureen. Just been reading further about bamboo knitting needles. Amazing, but they seem to work!

I have tried Bamboo needles but I don't  like them.

When you have arthritis  in your hands which ever needles you use the pain is still there.

It is important though that you exercise your fingers and stretch them.

So I would say that knitting and typing are very good exercises.

Each to his own certainly, but there seems too much evidence to support the fact that bamboo knitting needles do help!

I would recommend anyone with arthritis to try the extract of New Zealand green lipped mussel product called Seatone.

Over a period I know they have helped several people with their symptoms.

Something else that definitely does work is good old fashioned cod liver oil. For maximum effect it has to be taken neat as opposed to capsules though.
