Sorry I have not been around. I'm back on antibiotics. Feeling a little bit better today - the antibiotics have started to kick in. I'm on them for 2 weeks or until my fingers start tingling. It's a good job I don't drink, you're not allowed any alcohol with these antibiotics. I have not been out since Thursday when I went to the doctors.Frown

On the rare occasions that I've had antibiotics It always gives me stomach upsets. I hope you recover soon Annmarie.

Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol. http://cidermannz.blogspot.com/

Annmarie I am so sorry that you are poorly.

At least you have a Doctor looking after you.

You know that you have to be careful.

Rest as much as you can and try not to worry.

Can I send a rather large spray of flowers to a young lady who is not so well? I hope you are soon feeling much better, Ann Marie.

My wife and I returned from our travels late on Monday evening and last night we were out to dinner, a huge barbecue around the pool. It's very hot here, yesterday we hit thirty degrees and the air conditioning got its very first spin.

My cameras got a good workout and I am delighted with some of the shots, I will post some if you so wish. I have many flower, animal and bird pictures plus a few other items that may interest.

It's nice to be back and a special thanks to Doreen for keeping my seat warm although at present I would enjoy it being cooled down a bit. Embarassed

What a lovely photo  ME. I know that Annmarie will enjoy it.

30°C very warm but even your winter temperatures are often higher than our summer ones.

Your Photos are good Robin. We ! would love to see them and I would like to know about your camera

and the program you use to load them.

Thank you all for your kind words.Kiss I love the photo. Oh, I can't wait for spring. It's my favourite time of year, when everything starts growing again.

You're are right, Doreen. I'm so very lucky with my doctors, they are brilliant. I am popping into the office and doing an hour or two. I have not got through all the posts yet. But they do cheer me up.Laugh

I have to say in the past I have not had a problem with the antibiotics. But this time I don't know if it's because of my other medication they are making me feel really bad or maybe I just forgot how bad they make you feel. I'm sure they will kick in soon.Laugh

Thanks for the flowers, 'ME'. That's the second lot I have received today. I hope your wife knows!Laugh I love the first one. I had one very similar to it in my old garden but the flowers were very small and just purple – no white flowers. I know the second plant. I have one indoors. In the UK they are houseplants, too tender to go outside.

Ann-marie, We have something in common, we both like flowers and especially Forum flowers.

Robin's wife is I think called Patricia and is an angel. She manages Robin and deserves a medal.Wink

My wife is also a third Dan and a black belt in marshal arts, her swift kick in the 'bum' needs to be felt to be believed. This is one mean woman. Frown

Doreen, it is a woman's world and it would be a very foolish male who didn't appreciate the fact and even for a moment thought otherwise.

I can do anything Tricia will let me, she is kind, considerate … I can't recall all the other attributes I was informed she possesses. I wouldn't have it any other way. Laugh

Robin —It is not a Woman's world.

Woman do have a very important part but we think differently, talk differently

and act differently.

We are always one step behind men.Frown

I don't believe Prince Phillip will agree with you, or Me either. I walk behind my wife as if I walk in front I get lost easily. I know my exact position in life, Tricia kindly told Me.

I don't like to think either men or women are better. I like to hold my husband's hand when we are out and we walk side by side. I know when I worked for a Turkish family many years ago some of the men did not treat their wives as equals but others did. For example the Turkish Consulate General would travel in a bulletproof car with his friends and the wives would be in an ordinary car. Every one is different – that's the beauty of the world.Laugh

Some men require bullet proof cars as protection from their wives, you don't reach my age without a little stealth and cunning. Smile

I finish my antibiotics tomorrow. I can't wait. They are making me feel so ill. I have got some of the drinks that have the good bacteria in. I'm hoping they will make me feel a little better. I went out for the first time today. Just grocery shopping with my husband and it was exhausting. I feel like I've run a marathon.

I can sympathise with you, Ann Marie, my wife is on anti biotic at present for a stomach complaint. Oddly the very problem anti biotic is known to bring about as a side effect.

I hope all goes well for you, and you are soon firmly established on the road to recovery. Not sure about grocery shopping, but retail therapy has been known to help, I am a great believer. Smile
