The Nintendo Wii Fit Plus has become the first computer game to win Department of Health approval. When it goes on sale today, it will carry the NHS Change4Life logo, and form part of the campaign to encourage people to eat healthier and to exercise more.

Wii Fit Plus is an updated version of Nintendo’s Wii Fit. It includes such healthy activities as Yoga, Aerobic Exercise, Skiing and Hula-hooping.

Importantly, users have the ability to tailor the exercises to their own particular needs, and to target specific areas of the body.

So if you’re in your Third Age and want to have some fun while keeping fit, we highly recommend the Wii Fit Plus. The NHS does!

I actually completed a “Change for life ” programme of twenty weeks,an excellent course consisting of an hour of exercise then an hour of understanding labels on food stuff..it was free too Kiss

There were about thirty of ladies of a certain age,we benefited from it so much that an exercise to music class was founded ….now in it's seventh year  Laugh

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”~ Mark Twain,
