Well I have got both the small blinds done. When I say done, all I have to do is the cords and dowels which my sister has. I'm trying to get the large middle one finished. I'm going to see my sister next week and we are meant to be putting them up. I will take some photos.
While I've been making the blinds today I've had my iPod on. I've been listening to Josef Locke. It makes the time go quick.

Well the Roman blinds are finished. I think they look great.
We went to my sister's on Wednesday to put the blinds up. In the end it took us 3 and a half hours. My sister and husband went to the DIY shop to get the last minute bits and pieces so we could hang them. I stayed at the house, had a cup of tea and chatted to my mum. In order to hang the blinds we had to fit a timber batten to the window reveal to attach the blinds to, put the cords on to pull the blinds up and insert the dowels to get the straight lines. They look lovely and finish her bedroom off beautifully.
My sister is really pleased and phoned me next morning to say what a great nights sleep she had. No waking up early because the light was too bright.
