I think the down on women drivers has now become a well worn joke, and one not to be taken seriously. This started when women behind the wheel were few and far between but that certainly isn't the case today. Women are now fully integrated into the work force on equal standing with men, and they are just as likely to be found driving buses, heavy trucks, ambulances, police cars fire trucks and as already mentioned, planes. However, the old dig isn't quite ready to die down yet and I am a firm believer that anyone who says it is a man's world is seriously misinformed!!!
