Hi, My name is Ann-marie. Sorry I've not introduced myself before.

Things I like: gardening, walking, making things, cooking, history, photography (not very good), nature. Well, most things really.

I do all the graphics and most of the technical stuff on the site (thirdage.co.uk). I'm 14 years younger than my husband, our editor. Here is a photo. It's about 5 years old. It was taken at Wisley Gardens. The plant I'm standing in front of is a Gunnera, my husband's favourite plant. I don't have a newer photo I'm afraid. I don't like my picture being taken. If I can help with anything on the site, please ask.
Ann-marie

I have been to Wisley gardens — I think— Is that where they have a moor garden and lots of Rhododendrons.?

…and now I know you, so Hello.

Ah! Hello Annmarie! It's always nice to have a face in my mind while I'm tapping away on the keyboard.

How sickening and ingratiating. I think I preferred the picture of the cow, much more in keeping.

You lot do deserve each other, all three of you.

Wisley Gardens does have a lot of Rhododendrons but no moor garden that I know of. Wisley is in Surrey. If you're ever over here, it's well worth going to see.Smile

Why do you people always have to fight with each other? Is there not enough hate and despair in the world today without resorting to this?

By the way Mr Ciderman, if you are going to use the script you put up at least make it read what you set out to.

Perhaps a clock with more than one face will tell the correct time one day.Laugh

Cider, Thank you for those kind words, I understood your message.

Gorgon, I feel sure  that I know you.

Don't forget this is a www, a world web full of information.

We don't fight on this Forum as fighting, argueing and being rude

never solves a problem.

Enjoy your day .Smile

The end of a busy day.

How nice to sit down at my computer and have time to think of nothing.

Nothing -no -my brain is always  thinking of something and I expect I shall soon be feeling hungry.Smile

Annmarie, I am thinking. Yes so early in the morning. I have to say this and it really is the truth.

You are bl….. blinking..clever with computers.

I am trying to think, how did she do it.

You put a photo and I don't know how you did it.

Oh if the days had 25 hours and the week 8 days

and if ????   Confused

It's just trial and error with a computer. Once you understand you can't really do anything wrong and your work is on the machine somewere so its easy from there. I have to be honest, with my computer I have Windows XP Professional but I have the look of Windows 95. All my folders, menus, etc look the same as they did in 95 so I can find everything so much more easily. I don't have to keep learning where Windows has moved things, I can use my time on more important things such as graphic programs and at the moment I'm trying to learn WordPress and the forum. I've never used a forum before.Laugh

The sun is shining this morning, inside and out.

Yesterday I read your News site about food. It was such a well written and  interesting article.

(my bell rang and I had to go)

that I am thinking about eating and changing my eating habits.

Work to do outside today, the weeds are growing.Smile
