Over the last couple of years my wife and I have been somewhat tied down looking after (and worrying about) elderly relations. In January this year, my mother, who lived in England, passed away; and two months ago, my mother-in-law, who lived with us in New Zealand, did likewise.
These events have meant that my wife and I can now play up big time, and we have made up for the restrictions we were once placed under, and we are free to travel. I took up an interest in photography, especially flora and fauna. Most people like to view pictures of flowers and gardens and I am wondering, as there are several camera users on site, is there is a possibility of a thread dedicated to pictures, with explanations as to where they were taken? Would there be interest and support for such an idea, should I go and refill my glass?

Robin, I can't write to Me
You want a thread for photos and I would like a thread for computers.
We are new here, and the Forum has been rebuilt. I think we must wait a while.
If you “right click” on a page and go into source-code you can (perhaps) read how so a site is edited.
There are hours of work writing the soft ware for this program and there is still much to be done.
I spent yesterday 2 hours installing a “wireless router” joining my desktop to my Laptop and I thought I could do it in 10minutes.
You know Hazel/Lacey she is an expert with photos. I think she will join here after the holidays and Gina is here. she too is a super photographer.
Perhaps Graham could give you Hazel's Blog address. There you will can see her photos.

I certainly would if I had it Doreen.
I think the easy way to display photographs at the moment is by using an application such as Photobucket. It is easy to use and good online storage for all your picture files. You can then link directly to a picture and place it on the site.

A big thank you to Gerald.
Me. asked for Photos and I asked for computers and before I could say “Tante Suki” they were there.
I asked Graham for Hazel's blog and she delivered personally.

That is known as 'ask and it shall be given', Doreen. Wonderful, I think it is.

Dear Gerald,
It is bitter cold here -5°C and i am sitting with no desire to go outside.
So I am asking again.
You mentioned the word Glamour.?
How about having a Bistro or Bistrot as they are called in Paris
A place for small talk whilst drinking your own coffee.

Good Morning Doreen. Your wish is my command. It's called simply 'Bistro', but if anyone has a better title, ask away.

I don't like this chap called Me. I used to know a lovely and wicked chap called Mouse who seems to be very similar. I want him back. I want to enjoy his sense of fun and to know all about how his chickens tasted, etc etc
Of course, I'm very sad about the life changes that have taken place – but if Me is the chap I know, then I shall look forward to hearing of the new exploits and adventures and would even say that I would pass on my best wishes to his lovely wife, if I knew who he was of course!
