I've got nothing else to do at the moment and I'm not interested in whats on TV!Smile

So…

Little Ciderman arriving in Bermuda on HMS Ranee.

The fishing was good! The navy provided us with a boat .

And all dad had to arrange was a volunteer crew for the boat:

My dad was always popular with the troops, so he never had trouble getting them.

Of there was sometimes a downside! Like diving into a Portuguese Man-o-War jelliefish!

We lived on Blucks Island with Major and Mrs Kitchener, nephew of Lord Kitchener.

The photos are great.Laugh I love seeing how things used to be. On the BBC they have had a series about home movies that have been taken over the last 100 years. Some of the footage has been amazing. This week you had a helicopter pilot who filmed the Malaya emergency in the 50s. The helicopter looks very strange. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00tnpx3
