The Waipawa Militia, (my son and I) in our firearm safety hats.

Me and my savage attack dog!

That dog looks a killer!! I could probably do with him here to help me with my mouse/rat hunt as it's getting beyond me.

Do you hire him out? Rats are becoming a real nuisance in our garden right now. They've even started climbing the trees to attack the bird feeders. The other day we watched the largest rat I've ever seen scale our cedar and crawl out on a branch to get to one particular feeder. Almost daily we're having to hang the feeders on thinner and thinner branches as the blighters overcome one obstacle after another.

When I was working in the vineyard, Minnie (the foxy) would play with one of the other guys labrador. They would tear arse about at astonishing speeds until Minnie ran under the tow bar of the tractor-trailer which would be followed by a loud “BONG” as the Lab hit it.
