Well I had a lovely day on Wednesday. We went to Wisely Gardens. I had a really early start, up at 7am and we left the house at 7.50am. We had to start so early because it takes 2 hours to get to my mum's. We picked up my mum and 2 old friends. The gardens were looking lovely as usual. It seems like we walked for miles and still did not see all the gardens. We had lunch there. I have to say the prices are very high but the food is good. After dropping everyone off we got home at 8pm. I was really tired yesterday. I had a nap at lunchtime, but it was worth it. I had a smashing day. I'm feeling a bit better today. It always takes me a few days to get over a day like Wednesday, but that's life. I have taken some photo. Hope it gives a feel of the beauty of the gardens.

One thing you lot do well is formal gardens. Last year when we were in UK we went to Savill gardens, while we were staying in Basingstoke. Amazing. It even had a 'New Zealand' garden with plants we recognised.

You are so right. We have some lovely gardens. I'm a little ashamed I've never been to Savill gardens even though I've lived in the area. As children we would go to Ascot Races all the time. I must go to the gardens. I think the spring sounds good. I hate Basingstoke. It's all ring roads and roundabouts. I always get lost. It does have a very good shopping centre though. The old village of Basingstoke is lovely.
