The Third Age forum is now back to normal!

As the result of a sustained and viscious attack on this forum and its members during the course of the Early May Bank Holiday weekend by former member Graham Smith, it was with reluctance that we found it necessary to temporarily suspend postings.


Mr Smith of Haworth in West Yorkshire (pictured here: http://www.thirdage.co.uk/welc…..ham-smith/), styles himself variously as Bronte Media, Bronte Media Services, Best Books Online, Encore Magazine and Media World News.


At one point Mr Smith accessed our forum by registering using the business name and email address of a competitor of his in the book publishing world. During the course of our investigation we spoke to the owner of this business who informed us he had suffered 3 years of abuse at the hands of Graham Smith as a result of a disagreement on a forum. We understand others may have suffered similarly. They have our sympathies!

Dear Administrator, please excuse me for writing here but I am so angry

with what Graham Smith has written about me on his Message board.

I know that it is an unwritten law not to refer to other Forums but he does it.

He asks Hazel if I was a troublemaker on other Forums and too on Seniority.

Seniority was my first Forum, I was young and inexperienced in forums.

I hardly opened my mouth there.

I do remember though how he argued with others.

He was banned from every forum, that is why he had to open his own message board

Doreen, I have just replied to your message, sorry it has taken so long I just didn't see the little red envelope.

I wouldn't worry about what Smith has to say about you. He is the only person on God's earth and the Internet who hasn't yet realised not a soul takes any notice of him and laughs behind his back. Smile
