…I thought I'd do a bit of tourist promotion!

The Woodville track walk. A once a year fund raiser run by the Lions when they arrange that no trains run and we walk the 8 km and 3 tunnels of the Manawatu Gorge.

At the A & P Show, two 10 tonne diggers compete in such tasks as pouring a 20 litre bucket of water into anothe 20 litre contaner, carrying it 50 metres and tipping it into another bucket. First to complete wins!
