Following the massive earthquake in Chile a tsunami warning has been give for Australia, Hawaii and the Pacific nations.

It would be good if we could hear from our members down under about what news they are being given and that they are all well and safe.

We have been told on the radio that we can expect a tsunami of about 1 1/2 metres at around 8.30 this morning which is about the time I will be on the shores of Botany Bay picking my daughter up from the airport.  Fortunately we have also been told that only the coasts north of Sydney will be affected and the Airport is south of the City.


I'll report back later.
