When times are tough it is important people know where to turn to get all the help and advice they need.
That is why the Government has launched a booklet for people aged over 60 pulling together in one place all the help that is available to them.
The 40-page booklet “Real Help Now for over 60s” provides information on everything you need to know from claiming Pension Credit, to help with your fuel bills, to help in taking that course on IT you’ve always wanted to do.
Real Help Now for Over 60s booklet.

It is indeed very important for people to know where to get help.
If anyone has specific issues which we at Third Age may help with do get in touch. We have research facilities which may answer most of your questions and contacts if we cannot find the immediate answer.

Perhaps you can help me get to grips with this internet jargon. I mean to say, what's a Wiki when he's at home? And what's a cookie? I seem to remember from the days I could actually afford to buy luxuries that they were a small type of cake. Now I'm informed I have these living inside my computer.
Well I've no idea how they got there, but how do I get them out and will they still be edible given the fact I've had this machine for several years

Not too sure about a Wiki, is it perhaps an abbreviation for Wikipedia? A cookie does live in the computer. I believe it remembers and feeds information in relevant applications. I prefer a cake myself!

A wiki is a website that allows the easy[1] creation and editing of any number of interlinked Web pages, using a simplified markup language or a WYSIWYG text editor, within the browser.
Than you Wikipedia!!
