Contrary to popular belief, Wreath Making is not simply a one-season pastime. Yes, Christmas might be the time when most people will hang a wreath on their front door or in their hallway, but Wreath Making is a pastime that can be practiced all year round using standard materials available from Wreath Making suppliers, or freely available seasonal materials collected from your garden or the countryside.

Wreath Making is an ancient craft. The Greek god Apollo is associated with Wreaths, which inspired the Greeks to use Wreaths as crowns of victory at their Pythian Games, a forerunner of the Olympic Games.

The Romans also wore Wreaths as a mark of celebration, and it was the Romans who first introduced the tradition of  Funeral Wreaths.

All you need is a Glue Gun or two (different sizes for different applications), Glue Sticks, Floral Wire, Florists Tape, Florists Picks, Florists Pins, Wire Cutters, a Ruler and a Measuring Tape. Those few items should see you up and running for little more than a few pounds.

Fashion a lovely seasonal Wreath from spring pussy willows and forsythia. Just for fun, use recycled toys on a Wreath or “Wreath around the clock.”
