Options is a club for singles, divorced, separated and bereaved, formed in 1984 with the object of providing a social and meeting forum for people looking to make new friends and improve their quality of life. Current ages of members range from 45 to 70 years old, and the club covers Brentwood, Havering and the surrounding areas.
Options is a non-profit making organisation with any surplus funds being ploughed back into the club to keep it financially sound and to subsidise social outings and events throughout the year for the benefit of members.
Options currently meet weekly at around 9pm on Tuesday evenings at the Bull in Brentwood. Potential new members are welcome to attend these evenings as a guest where they can find out more and see the club’s programme of events.
The last Tuesday in each month is probably the best night to visit as that is the most widely attended!
Typical events include: badminton, barbecues, coach trips, disco/dances, films, house parties, meals out, nights at the dogs, pool and darts, quiz nights, ten pin bowling, theatre, visits to places of interest, walks and anything else the club or a member can put on.
