CD of the Month
Halcyon Days: The Very Best Of The Strawbs. The Strawbs were without doubt one of the best bands to grow out of the British folk-rock movement during the 1970s. 'Halcyon Days' features the very best of the Strawbs, unquestionably one of the best and most iconic of all British bands. The Strawbs were one of the most internationally praised groups during the 1970s with four US chart albums and three hit singles here in the UK. But as good as they were, their singles hits with their 3-minute format could never do justice to the music of this excellent band.
