Welcome to the Third Age Newsletter.
With our March newsletter comes the great news that Spring arrives early this year, moved forward from its traditional date of March 21st to the 20th to take account of the Vernal (Spring) Equinox.
March is also a pretty busy month in the events calendar with International Women's Week running from the 8th until the 14th, Crufts, which runs from the 11th until the 14th, and Mother's Day, also on the 14th. March 14th looks like being an exceptionally busy day for some people!
And finally and not least, our resident feature writer Graham Smith invites you to March into Meat Free Month, the annual initiative promoting the positive benefits of a meat free diet.
