The Edible Garden Show 2011

The Edible Garden Show 2011

The countdown has begun to The Edible Garden Show – the first-ever national event dedicated exclusively to ‘Grow Your Own’ fruit and vegetables.

People wishing to visit this must-see event can take advantage of specially discounted tickets if they book now.

The Edible Garden Show 2011 promises to be an unforgettable occasion to meet the phenomenal public demand for home-grown produce and healthy eating.

The show will debut at Britain’s most famous horticultural venue, Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, over three days from 18 to 20 March 2011. Tickets are priced at £13 for adults, £11 for children with special concessions for senior citizens, students and group bookings.

However, visitors booking in advance qualify for a 15% discount with adult tickets priced at £11 and child tickets at just £9. This spectacular event is supported by the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners and the Royal Agricultural Society of England. Mirror Group newspapers are official national media partner to The Edible Garden Show.

The event also has the support of the Women’s Institute. Experts from the WI’s famous National Cookery School at Denman College, Abingdon, will be providing cookery demonstrations and offering advice to visitors on everything from preserving, jam-making and pickling to baking your own bread.

A wide range of experts and exhibitors will also conduct seminars over all three days telling you how to get the very best out of your home produce, covering all aspects of gardening, allotments, grow your own and healthy eating – as well as beekeeping, poultry, livestock and home brewing. From planting seeds to turning home-grown fruit and vegetables into delicious meals, The Edible Garden Show will be crammed full of great ideas and advice from gardening professionals.

The Edible Garden Show 2011 promises to appeal to the whole family – from the seasoned gardener who spends every spare minute on the allotment to a complete novice daunted by planting a few vegetables in the back yard.
