A new report by NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) reveals the importance of Third Age Entrepreneurs to the British economy.
The report found that 27% of all successful business start-ups created between 2001 and 2005 were created by people between the ages of 50 and 65, an age when conventional wisdom has us winding down towards retirement.
That means that no less than 93,500 companies were created by enterprising Third Agers keen to use their wealth of experience to create viable businesses now employing more than 400,000 people!
If you are one of those Third Agers, we would love to hear from you. We would be pleased to feature your story to help us motivate and inspire other would be Third Age entrepreneurs to achieve better and greater things in their later years.
Please contact us with your story.
