The Nintendo Wii Fit Plus has become the first computer game to win Department of Health approval. When it goes on sale today, it will carry the NHS Change4Life logo, and form part of the campaign to encourage people to eat healthier and to exercise more.
Wii Fit Plus is an updated version of Nintendo’s Wii Fit. It includes such healthy activities as Yoga, Aerobic Exercise, Skiing and Hula-hooping.
Importantly, users have the ability to tailor the exercises to their own particular needs, and to target specific areas of the body.
So if you’re in your Third Age and want to have some fun while keeping fit, we highly recommend the Wii Fit Plus. The NHS does!
