The RHS Garden Wisley Flower Show returns once more this September. This must-see show promises to provide a great day out for gardeners of all abilities, and runs this year Friday through Sunday, 10-12 September. The Flower Show is free with normal garden entry.
Highlights include:
Nurseries and trade stands
More than 40 nurseries and garden trade stands will be exhibiting, many of which are Chelsea or Hampton Court Palace Flower Show Gold medal winners.
Flower arranging displays
The National Association of Flower Arranging Societies (NAFAS) is providing a spectacular display with the theme Floral Fantasy in the Floral Marquee. See around 100 amazing displays and vote for your favourite!
Gorgeous grasses
On 11 -12 September in The Wisley Plant Centre, Chelsea Gold medal winner, Neil Lucas, from Knoll Gardens, will be giving talks and planting demonstrations on ornamental grasses and their uses in containers and companion planting. Presentations are at 11.30am and 2pm. Please note spaces are limited so arrive in plenty of time.
Garden advice
If you have a gardening question, the experts from the RHS advice team, the exhibitors from the nurseries and trade stands can help, and, for flower-arrangers, members of Surrey NAFAS will be on hand.
Surrey Sculpture Society Trail
Visitors to the Show will also be able to enjoy the Surrey Sculpture Society Trail. More than 60 distinctive sculptures, showing everything from the traditional to the contemporary, will be on display.
